Between 2016-2018 the amount of plastic and rubber sent to landfill and incinerators in the UK increased by around 80%. From our research most rubber surfacing is not recycled, in stark contrast to the industry advances in tyre recycling.
Our processes ensure that the rubber surfacing we remove is recycled in a way that uses less energy and produces less carbon emissions than the production of virgin EPDM rubber.

Rebound Rubbers’ business model also has strategic partners who specialise in surface and play equipment. Those partners have had HIC testing carried out on our recycled rubber, which has passed as safe for various critical fall heights.

Schools
For schools our removal and recycling services offer peace of mind that in replacing the safety surfacing they are not having a detrimental effect on the environment. As well as this all staff are DPS checked and have worked in schools for many years.
